MIRTA designed, manufactured, and installed a custom indoor rope course for the Fly Kids Family Entertainment Center in Odesa. The attraction was developed for children aged 6 to 12 years and features eight consecutive challenge elements with a variety of suspended obstacles that encourage active play and physical development.

The rope course was seamlessly integrated into the existing entertainment center, expanding its range of active attractions, increasing its appeal to families, and encouraging visitors to spend more time at the venue.

High Ropes Course Construction

The rope course was custom-designed to match the building layout and the client’s operational requirements. The structure is supported by heavy-duty steel columns protected with a corrosion-resistant coating, ensuring long-term durability in a high-traffic commercial environment.

For maximum user safety, the course is equipped with a Continuous Belay System (CBS), allowing participants to remain securely attached throughout the entire route without disconnecting or reconnecting their safety lanyard. This significantly improves operational safety while simplifying supervision by staff.

All structural and play elements are manufactured from premium commercial-grade materials designed for intensive daily use. The course was engineered specifically for its target age group, combining a low operating height of 1.2 m (3.9 ft) with a continuous safety system to provide a safe and comfortable experience for children.

High Ropes Course structure

The indoor rope course covers an area of 112 m² (1,206 sq ft) and measures 8 × 14 m. The attraction features eight consecutive challenge sections, each incorporating a variety of suspended obstacles with different levels of difficulty. Every section is 6 m (19.7 ft) long, while the course is positioned 1.2 m (3.9 ft) above floor level.

The obstacle sequence was carefully designed to provide a balanced combination of physical challenges and continuous engagement throughout the entire course. Alternating obstacle types keep children motivated while helping them develop balance, coordination, strength, endurance, agility, and self-confidence in a safe and enjoyable environment.
